Here’s a guest post on the Top 5 Enterprise blockchain Priorities I published on Digital Asset’s blog.
Quick background:
As the innovation in blockchain and crypto grows, especially with NFTs and Metaverses, it is obvious that blockchain backed infrastructures are probably best suited to deploy these enterprise innovations.
When I wrote my books Connected and Dancing the Digital Tune, at the end of each I left one item open for discovery – how do we create a connected, multi-enterprise, customer engagement ecosystem that is contextual yet private, autonomous yet provides avenues for redress, and one which focuses on engagement, not just transactions?
And I’ve been convinced now for several years that the solution that completes that puzzle is web3 and decentralization. That’s the only way individuals and companies can come together on a common platform they can each call their own. As I learn more everyday this fuels my drive and imagination. I am aware I have a very long way to go. But I’m excited about this journey before all of us.
We need to stop thinking in terms of creating a “digital strategy”, and instead think of “competing in a digital world”.
So the blog addresses the 5 priorities for the enterprise from the perspective of creating these customer engagement ecosystems:
